Every light designed and created by Mathieu Challières is marked with an incredible sweetness and radiate a true elegance, fitting perfectly to your interior. A silver caped light bulb is advised: the light is reflected to the ceiling without incommoding the vision.

An autumn day of 1997 Mathieu Challières leaves the corporation world to build his own structure. He plans to make for other what he always did for himself: to draw, to build or to have made furniture and decorative objects. His lights with baroque or contemporary influences mix up humor, poetry and pragmatism. Mathieu Challières is an exigent designer who looks for the light but keep a foot in the shade. His lamps, aerial and impressive are questioning the shapes and the uses, revisiting 17th and 18th centuries spirits, like the plaster made pendant light “Dans les Airs”(In the Air).
