Our story

Created in 2005, Fleux is the culmination of the dream of its founders, Luc Moulin, architecture and Gaëtan Aucher, floral design. Together they decide to create a friendly store, composing an elegant universe, enriched with a dreamlike vision.

Still a family and independent business today, Fleux is making its way in the heart of the Marais, rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, and is establishing itself step by step in this vibrant neighborhood that is dear to us. Born from the contraction of the words Luxe and Superflu, this place with an intriguing name offers itself incredible freedom and mixes minimalism with extravagance by playing on codes and leaving room for a plural expression of creativity and beauty.

Encensing the meeting of several entities, whatever it is, we have always wanted to advocate the uncommon, the singularity of our choices and the plurality of universes. Actors in this field of possibilities and wishing to show something else in the Parisian landscape than an aestheticism that is sometimes too smooth, we are inspired by this eclecticism, this whimsical and dreamlike characteristic of the Marais. We honor the beauty, the richness of the difference. We peel the latest design trends for you so that you can get out of the game. This creates a space of curiosity and profusion.

Composing a joyful bric-a-brac where we like to find the rare pearl among trends and exclusive creations, our Parisian address seduces with its effervescence of creativity and its uninhibited bias. Spontaneous, explosive, Fleux aims to be a meeting place where impertinence and poetry desecrate and bring objects to life. A place of china like gifts, He-whose-we-must-pronounce-the-x offers through its proximity, sharing, generosity and simplicity.

Once through the door, striding through our shops with no specific idea in mind, we hope that you can find, whoever you are, a piece that speaks to you, resembles you. This would be our great success, our history.

OUR ADVENTURE
Today, Fleux appears to be well established in rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, with no less than six shops that you can walk between! But it hasn't always been that way. We come back with you on our small steps, which we took with you and thanks to you, you who have made us grow in recent years.

The story continues with the opening of a second store in March 2009 at No. 52.

In July 2010, Fleux launched its eshop in a desire to offer our selection to a greater number, on a European radius!

In September 2018, a fifth boutique at No. 43 offers an eco-friendly revival. A wide selection of cosmetics with natural ingredients and zero waste tips echo our green values and look to the future.

In November 2018, Fleux gets a makeover thanks to a new visual identity! To best transcribe our uninhibited way of life and breathe our eclecticism, we offer ourselves a fresh breeze ... New windows, new logo, new tone: the whole point is to share more precisely this singularity and this lightness that we hold dear. heart, to defend an art of living with a recognizable touch and of course, to be closer to you.
